1ST Art
Ages 2-5

Let 1st Art be your first stop for educational fun this summer. Our experienced early childhood specialist has designed a fun, age-appropriate curriculum based on a playful approach to art. The 1st Art program engages our youngest artists and fosters learning by teaching fundamental motor skills, increasing self-confidence, promoting awareness of the visual and tactile world, and by integrating the senses. Expect a balance of drawing, painting and craft-based projects during each class. 2-3 year old students enroll for courses with a parent or guardian; 4-5 year old students take the class without parent or guardian.

Explore the elements of art by experimenting with a variety of media including paint, sculpture, collage and more. Create your very own book about the “Ingredients of Art”!

Art Around the World

Depart on an adventure around the world without ever leaving the art studio. Explore the culture of several countries by creating unique artworks such as prints from China, cave paintings from Australia and African inspired masks.

It’s a Jungle out there….and a Zoo in here!

Embark on an imaginary trip to the jungle and then back to the zoo using a variety of media to create artwork inspired by animals of all shapes and sizes.

Imagine That!

Dinosaurs, space creatures and monsters will roam the art studio during this imagination filled week.
Use paint, papier mâché, clay and found objects to create fun and crazy creatures.
